TOURS
Guided tours will introduce Samuel Untermyer the man, the lawyer, the activist and his grand gardens including:
The Walled Garden - Persian style gardens and canals surrounded by Greek architecture, adorned with intricate mosaic panels, and punctuated with Paul Manship sculpture.
The Vista Steps - descending from the Persian garden, past the ruins of old color gardens, leading to ancient Roman columns that frame views of the Hudson river.
The Temple of Love - a romantic, naturalistic rock outcropping with cantilevered terraces, winding steps and water courses, subtended by pools and streams.

Please join us at the 945 North Broadway parking lot. No reservations are required. We request a ten dollar donation for each individual on the tour. Children 12 and under are free. Please wear sturdy shoes. Tours usually last 90 minutes. The tour will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain. Strollers are not advised for the tours.
Dogs are not permitted.
Commercial and professional photography requires a permit from the City of Yonkers.

Open to the Public
The Walled garden is open Monday through Saturday, 7am - sunset year round. On Sundays from April till October, the walled garden will remain open from noon till dusk. The walled gardens will be closed on the following holidays: New Year's, Martin Luther King, Lincoln & Washington's birthdays, Easter, Columbus, Election, Veteran's Thanksgiving and Christmas.The remaining open holidays will follow Sunday hours.
The rest of the park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
